Classroom Management

 Classroom Policies

What we achieve comes from how we work together. To provide a positive climate with optimal learning opportunities for all students, there are a few general rules for my classroom. We will discuss them further in class.

 Classroom Rules

Be respectful – Respect people, equipment, and furnishings, listen while others speak

Be on time - To class and with your work

Be prepared – Have all appropriate materials and supplies and be seated when the bell rings

Be responsible – Complete assignments on time, follow directions the first time they are given

Use equipment appropriately

Observe all rules in the student handbook

If You Choose to Break a Rule

·         1st time: Warning: verbal, touch, look

          2nd time: Warning card

3rd time: Detention & parents notified.

·         Severe disruption will result in the student being sent immediately to the office.

Students who receive at least 2 warnings for the week may go straight to a warning card.

Students who receive at least 2 warning cards for the week may go straight to lunch detention.

*This plan may be modified at the teacher’s discretion.

Don’t Break My Heart

It’s easier to leave angry words unspoken

Then to mend the heart

Those words have broken
